We had no experience of such a product... Ken has been extremely helpful throughout and has assisted and advised through the whole process which has made things very easy for us as a first time customer. The doors arrived ahead of schedule. Just to say we had an extension built to the rear of our house to serve as a dining and garden room. Our architect and his builders recommended that we use your bi-fold doors, three sets to give the best space, light and access to the new room. They were absolutely right...we have moved into the new room and it is an absolute joy. Thank you Duration...the doors are also an engineering treat. We are so pleased we have asked our builder to quote for replacing our nine windows and patio door with your products.

I have had a couple of quotes for some more secondary glazing. Duration have come out tops again and I was very pleased with the service and units that you sent me before. They are top quality and so easy to fit. The difference they have made insulating both sound and heat is phenomenal.

I have recently purchased and fitted secondary glazing with acoustic glass. All I can say is why didn't I do it sooner. The quality of the frames is excellent, fitting is so simple and the noise reduction is 100%. The only thing I can hear is a police siren faintly and I live next to a busy city centre road. Thank you for a hassle free ordering right through to delivery (only 3 wks after ordering)

Just thought that I would email you with my comments following the fitting of your secondary glazing system with the stadip acoustic glass! Thanks for all your help with this, and can now report that after fitting they are fantastic. I bought them to solve the problem of living next to a busy main road, and yes the sound insulation is brilliant! I can now watch the cars go past in silence, and more importantly live and sleep in peace and quiet. The rooms with this fitted are now also noticeably warmer than the others, and no condensation problems have occurred. I will be in touch shortly to do the rest of the house.

Many thanks for the excellent product and service. The SDG units have been installed in a listed building in Tavistock. The planners, my tenants and myself are very pleased. Thermal and acoustic efficiency is excellent. The product was easy to specify and to install and is well made. All the staff I met on my three visits to Canvey Island were friendly, well organised, informative and helpful. Duration seems to be a happy and well run business. Just like British business should be.

Product: ABD aluminium conservatory roof
Last Thursday 18th January we had storms that brought exceptional high winds. These winds were strong enough to rip the cover to our water tank on our roof off sending it hurtling down five stories onto the conservatory roof. At the time my 17 month old son, Angus, was having his nappy changed exactly beneath where it fell. Remarkably the glass roof including the glass itself withstood the impact and, although it damaged the conservatory, it bounced off and landed on our roof terrace. The water tank lid was about 1.5 by 3 metres, covered in lead and extremely heavy. It took two burly professional builders to remove it from the terrace. There is no doubt in my mind that, had the conservatory not been built to the standard it was my little boy and the nanny would have been killed. Since the storm we have had heavy rain and, to my astonishment, the roof has not even leaked.
