Our Heritage windows are designed as a slim thermally efficient replacement for old steel windows. The window frame has slim sight lines and aesthetics which emulate traditional old style steel windows. Durations Heritage windows are not your average slim-line window. Our Heritage windows offer a wide variety of different options not found on any of our regular slim aluminium windows such as authentic furniture, Durations own Butt hinges designed to be highly secure and adjustable for ease of fitting. Dummy Butt hinges for an authentic look for use inconjunction with modern friction hinges. Textured paint finishes for an authentic orange peel finish and modern multi-point Ste’alth Secure™ all round window locking. All these options are given to allow you to replicate your old traditional steel windows without compromising on modern standards for security, thermal efficiency and weather ratings.

Suitable for NEW BUILD, Replacement and Refurbishment Projects

The system is designed in line with the latest UK regulations offering the benefits of thermally efficient aluminium, using the latest Polyamide thermal barrier technology, with 24mm double glazed units to meet planning constraints and exceeding the latest thermal performance requirements. The superior polyamide thermally barrier is a large improvement on the old resin barrier, which no longer meets building regulations for NEW BUILD and often results in alot of condensation. This window is not just for referbishment and replacement projects, it meets all the specifications for NEW BUILD, so you can use this window in new extensions or brand new property.

This window system aims to offer you a high quality, low maintenance, cost effective and thermally efficient alternative to steel windows. With an almost identical looking profiles and slim sight-lines, we believe that anyone would struggle to see the difference between our Heritage window and it's steel equivalent. Our Heritage windows have been accepted by the Letchworth Heritage Foundation as an approved supplier, our customers confirm that they have been approved for use in Grade II listed buildings as steel replacement windows. It is THE ideal system where a prestigious, authentic, thermally advanced window system is required. This window has in the past been approved for use in listed II buildings.

The Heritage windows system can created beautiful finished curved aluminium windows with openers. No joins, no cuts and no drafts from the arched head section. Our revolutionary Ste’alth Secure™ locking can follow curves and lock round corners; meaning that you can lock and pull in tight the head section of the window, which has never before been possible.

Since we bought our new bending machine last year it is possible for us to create beautiful arched windows from one continuous profile. The tightest radius we can achieve on this window with our bending machines is 500 which makes for a very skinny arched Heritage window. We bend our windows here at duration meaning that we can support faster lead times and produce less returns.

RAL Colours And Textured Paint
